This course aims to help understand the development, the reality and the future of TV in Japan and in the world community from historical, institutional, social and cultural aspects. The course will discuss the role and the future possibility of TV in terms of promoting cross-cultural understanding.
Active participation in class, writing assignments, oral presentation and papers during and at end of each semester.
