To gain basic and overall knowledge of television history and culture.
This course aims to help students understand the development, the reality and the future of TV in Japan and in the world community from historical, institutional, social and cultural aspects. The course will discuss the role and the future possibility of TV in terms of promoting cross-cultural understanding.
