An in-depth reading of some of the representative works of Twentieth-century American poetry.
We will be reading works by poets such as Edwin Arlington Robinson, Robert Frost, William Carlos Williams, Hart Crane, and Langston Hughes.
Reading materials will be supplied as handouts.
Reference books will be introduced in class.
Regular class attendance and active participation in discussion are required.
