An in-depth reading of Jhumpa Lahiri's The Namesake.
We will listen to "second generation voices" and try to grasp their message. The novel we will read is The Namesake by Jhumpa Lahiri. The similarities and differences between the novel and the film version will also be discussed.

Reference books will be introduced in class.
