学習目標
 Students will be equipped with the basic knowledge and skills necessary to understand and appreciate Shakespeare's works.
授業概要
 This course is designed as an introduction to Shakespeare. By reading famous speeches, soliloquies, dialogues, and poems written by Shakespeare, we will be acquainted with his dramatic techniques and philosophies, especially the ways in which he uses the language to communicate with his audience. Attention will also be paid to filmic adaptations of Shakespeare's plays, in which we will experience the power and effect of Shakespeare's language in performance.
