学習目標
The aim of this course is to analyze The Notebook (1996), a novel written by Nicholas Sparks. We will also contrast the story with the film, The Notebook (2004), and read some poems that appear in the story.
授業概要
The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks is a love story of Noah and Allie, who are forced to separate because of the social realities. When they meet again, Allie is engaged to Lon. How will the story end? We will focus on the novel, the film adaptation, and the poems referred to in the story. The existence of poets and poems seems to clarify the hidden message of the story.
